“But the LORD answered me, Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ To whomever I send you, you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak.” Jeremiah 1:7

My Story
Hi, I’m Lili! After growing up in the Catholic community of San Diego, my heart was transformed in a radical way during my time as a student at SDSU. The Lord took my stagnant, obligation driven faith and gave me a burning desire to be totally given to His Sacred Heart. He knew what my heart needed wasn’t more explanations of the faith, but to see real devotion to prayer, an active relationship with Him, and the joy of Christ centered community lived out in real life. I was given this gift through the witness of countless people at the SDSU Newman Center, and my heart has never been the same. The Holy Spirit once told me that He wants to give me everything. With my arms stretched wide, I asked Him what I was to do with this “everything.” His resounding response was “Give it to My children!” After years of deep longing for full-time mission, the Lord made it clear that Paradigm is the vessel through which He wants me to pour His love into His sons and daughters. The Lord has won my heart by loving me in the most personal ways, and I hope to be a missionary who loves students with the same kind of specific love that the Father does. I know Jesus wants to make a saint out of every student at SDSU, and I feel unbelievably blessed to be a part of His plan.
